Weekly Reading Tarot Pugs TarotPugs Wild Unknown Tarot Compendium Constellations Astrology TarotPugs

This week’s reading was done with The Wild Unknown Tarot by Kim Krans and Compendium of Constellations by Black and the Moon.

Three tarot cards are drawn to show what we may expect for Monday / Tuesday, Wednesday / Thursday and Friday / Saturday / Sunday.

An oracle card is drawn as a summary of the week or lesson to keep in mind.

Let’s see what this week may have for us:

Four 4 Cups Wild Unknown Tarot TarotPugs Tarot Pugs Pug Weekly Reading

Monday / Tuesday

4 of Cups reversed

You may have had time on your own feeling withdrawn or perhaps in a slump. Activities that are normally enjoyed may have lost all interest or fun.

Now you may feel as though you’re coming around and want to join in again.

This may be a kind of reintroduction to your daily routine after feeling detached and/or despondent for a while.

Try to ease back into your normal activities and routine instead of jumping in and starting where you last left off. Continue reading

When Your Tarot Reading Sucks

When Your Tarot Reading Sucks Fails Pug TarotPugs Pugs Psychic Mediumship

Recently, I did a tarot reading and the client didn’t resonate with it at all.

I’d never experienced having a reading that was completely off the mark before. I knew it was inevitable one day, but I wasn’t really ready for it.

In that instance, I offered to redo the reading after a few days had passed.

But, before I did the reading again, I decided to do a little forensic CSI on the reading and find out what went wrong.

When your tarot reading sucks (or fails) there can be a few factors that come into play.

For instance, the day that I did that reading was probably a bad week for me.

It was just after a powerful full moon and just as I was preparing for the reading and shuffling the cards, I completely forgot the name of my spirit guide that assists me with connecting with my client’s spirit guides!

In addition to that my energy levels were lower than normal.

I couldn’t maintain a higher vibration and strangely enough as the following three to four days passed, I fell more into a depression.

Since I’ve had depression in the past, I knew the early warning signs and worked to turn it around to prevent it from getting worse.

Once I realised that my energy levels were affecting the reading, which my lower energy levels were separating me from channelling, I worked on myself to slowly get back to raising my vibration again.

International Tarot Day Blog Hop Tarot Pugs Pug TarotPugs

Welcome to our contribution to the celebration of International Tarot Day!

I trust you enjoyed Jillian C. Wilde’s article on Queen of Wands, and now, we’re tackling another challenging Tarot card: Ace of Pentacles.

It’s great to be part of this epic blog hop, organized by Bree at Nym’s Divination. Thanks, Bree!

TarotPugs has been gifted with the opportunity to blog about the Ace of Pentacles, which of itself is the very epitome of a gift in the tarot.

Here we’re going to discuss about the Ace of Pentacles and manifestation, which the Ace of Pentacles seems to say, “ask and you shall receive.”

The Ace of Pentacles in the Rider Waite Smith Tarot has a hand extended from a cloud, holding a gold coin with a pentacle on it. Continue reading

TarotPugs Tarot Pugs Weekly Reading The Wild Unknown Arcana of Astrology

This week is the summer solstice (or winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere) on June 21 marking the longest (or shortest) day of the year.

The past six months have been working up to this day, which afterwards we’ll slowly turn towards longer nights (or longer days).

Cards for this week are from The Wild Unknown Tarot by Kim Krans and Arcana of Astrology by Black and the Moon.

TarotPugs Tarot Pugs The Wild Unknown Magician Weekly Reading

Monday / Tuesday:
The Magician

As we start the week, we may have all the tools necessary to do what we need or want to do.

If you’ve been learning something new lately or rehearsing something, now may be the time to put what you know into practice.

These two days in the beginning of the week will be about taking action, not sitting idly by.

If you know what you need to do or what you should do, then now will be the time to do something about it.

Show others what you can do.

Certain procedures may come into questioning, whether a new policy or procedure can be put into effect that may be more proficient or cost-effective.

If you can find ways to improve something at home or work, now may be the time to step up and give your input and insight.

We may build upon what we already know and expand our knowledge about what we’re able to do.

We may need to stretch our knowledge and abilities and apply to them to a different practice or expertise, but logic and linear thinking may help us in that aspect.

You may have enough background knowledge in one area to apply it to a different field, or simply using common knowledge or sense to work out a dilemma or problem during these two days.

Let’s make some magic happen.

TarotPugs Tarot Pugs Temperance TWU

Wednesday / Thursday:
Temperance Reversed

During the middle of the week, we may feel a bit “out of balance,” especially if we feel that we may have a short fuse when it comes to dealing with certain people and/or situations.

Caution should be made to not let tempers get out of hand, whether yours or someone else’s.

We can only really take control of our own actions and responses, so trying to stay calm, collected and in control of ourselves can make the difference.

Do what you need to do in order to give yourself enough time for yourself.

Breaks, relaxation, retreats, etc., to cool any tension within yourself or in connection with others.

A comment from someone could be taken the wrong way, so it may be better to step back and away for a while before responding.

Go for a coffee or tea break during the day (as often as you can if possible) or go for a walk to find your inner Zen moments.

Tarot Pugs TarotPugs Nine Wands The Wild Unknown Weekly Reading

Friday / Saturday / Sunday:
9 Wands Reversed

After a long week that may have used up a lot of mental energy and strength, we may feel a little worn down and beaten from it.

The beginning of the week had “can do” energy, while the middle of the week was trying to calm those tempers and fires within ourselves.

Now that the weekend is here, we can take time to rest and recover from the week.

However, try not to let this turn into feeling defeated from the week. Do something that will make you happy this weekend as a reward.

If there’s a problem that persists from the weekend, but nothing can be done about it over the weekend, try to leave it until you can do something about it.

Stress and anxiety will only weigh heavily on your mind, depleting you of your energy and stamina for what you need to do over the weekend.

Recover yourself from any mental stress or burdens that were from the week and allow yourself to recharge before Monday comes again.

Take time for yourself this weekend to do what you want and need to do.

Tarot Pugs TarotPugs Arcana Astrology Scorpio

Weekly Card:

The theme for this week is to transform ourselves.

From having determination at the beginning to the week to feeling overwhelmed by everything around us and imbalances within ourselves, we may have to think how we can transform ourselves, our lives, our environment to something that will work better for us, now and in the future.

We can always bounce back and start over again with a new day and a new week.

Scorpio is associated with “death” among many things, which everyone goes through metaphorical “deaths” all the time.

Death is a transformation of itself, from one form to another.

Even the laws of physics state that energy can’t be destroyed or created, it can only be transformed or changed.

To point out further, humans and animals, all living and non-living things, are comprised of energy. We go under transformations all the time, some voluntarily and others mandatory.

This week, we may need to see what and how we can transform, what we need to shed or get rid of in order to transform into something else, to transform ourselves or our lives, and to see what we hope to achieve from it.

Weekly Reading Tarot TarotPugs Pugs Lenormand Rider Waite Pug

For this week’s reading, we’ll be using the Rider Waite Tarot by U.S. Games Systems, Inc. for our weekly reading.

We’ll look at three cards for Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday and Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

I’ve started learning Lenormand recently, which I’d thought I’d give my first public attempt for this week’s readings as a summary. 🙂

I’ve posted some Lenormand cards periodically on our Instagram page with of course, the pugs modeling them nicely. Continue reading

Summer has almost officially arrived or winter if you’re in the southern hemisphere and we’re about halfway through 2017.

Tarot Pugs TarotPugs The World Reversed Wild Unknown Tarot

Monday / Tuesday:
The World reversed

The World card seems to be a common theme in our weekly readings that has appeared in the last few readings, which can symbolise that something isn’t over just yet and it is likely to continue.

This is likely a message worth repeating as tarot keeps brining it up for us.

The cycle that we’re currently going through isn’t finished or there’s something that’s left unfinished for now.

It may mean that we have some unfinished business to attend to or something that hasn’t received closure or a conclusion.

We may be in the middle of something, a transition, phase or project or perhaps during these two days of the week, we may have work in progress that is continued from the previous week(s).

Although the week is just getting started, we may be continuing something from last week or from previous weeks.

Most likely this won’t be concluded just yet as more work or collaborations may be needed to see this through to the end.

TarotPugs TarotPugs Father of Pentacles King of Pentacles Wild Unknown Tarot

Wednesday / Thursday:
Father of Pentacles reversed

As we progress further into the week, we’ll need to be cautious about putting our own needs ahead of others.

In an idyllic world, if everyone cared for each other, then everyone would be taken care of; greed and selfishness would be eliminated as we shared our time and resources.

It’s understandable that we have to look out for ourselves – most often no one else will do it for us.

However, we shouldn’t let this take our full attention from an issue or someone that may need our time, energy and perhaps financial help.

Someone may be in need of some monetary assistance or advice, if we’re able to help them directly or indirectly, it may go a long way.

We shouldn’t let money issues get the best of us as there may be less than hoped for news about finances (stock market, bank accounts, etc.) that may damper moods.

We may feel that money slips through our fingers or in one hand and out the other.

We may get an added bonus or income just as an expense comes up or a bill is due.

Although money makes the world go ‘round (and it is pretty nice to have), it shouldn’t be our only focus and purpose.

Having our true needs met is what matters most as money will always come and go. True happiness shouldn’t depend only on money.

Tarot Pugs TarotPugs Three 3 Wands The Wild Unknown Tarot

Friday / Saturday / Sunday:
3 of Wands reversed

More preparation may be needed for future plans, which in the meantime, we may decide to stay close to home or near familiar territory (whether physically or in knowledge/expertise).

Something that we may be hoping for or waiting for might not be ready just yet.

There could be delays if waiting for someone or depending on transportation, particularly if we’re traveling over the weekend. Be prepared for delays, cancellations or postponements.

Let’s take time to focus and center ourselves and decide which direction we want to go in.

We may need to reassess something in our lives, perhaps even taking stock of something.

The focus may turn more inward about what we want to achieve within ourselves more than what we can achieve in the external world.

This may open up new perspective within ourselves and what we want to accomplish and acquire.

We may need to shift our attention or focus and decide what, how, where and when we want to do which may take us on a different path.

This may be a turning point wondering to stay or go, to follow or not in regards to something that we may have a chance or opportunity.

This may require inner reflection and to decide where we want to go from here.

Astrology New Moon Arcana of Astrology TarotPugs Tarot Pugs

Weekly oracle card:
New Moon

New moons always symbolize new beginnings, which we may feel that we’re currently in a phase of a new beginning. However, we’re not quite finished what we started.

Something new may be emerging from within ourselves while we’re still in the middle of something.

We may feel as though we’re multi-tasking two or more things, and now something new is coming this week.

This can be an awakening, a new way of doing things, a renewal, a rebirth or something tangible that is started this week.

The World reversed at the beginning of the week is still a continuation from the previous week(s) and continues likely through this week, yet we have something new that may arise also during the week and into the weekend.

There may be the beginning of something, that is planted this week that may come to fruition later on.

This could be a lead, a proposal, an offer, an idea or something that could start a new beginning.

Results won’t be immediate this week and will likely take time to manifest, however this may be a good week to plant new beginnings, hopes, dreams and ideas that we want to cultivate soon.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead!
