Monday. Back to the daily grind. January is almost over and time to get back to a normal routine by now. But, for some of us, it may be easier said than done. ~•~ Planning the work day can be effective, but for those with chronic pain or illness, it's not easy to stick with a routine or set schedule / reminder. The body doesn't care about obligations or requirements. ~•~ Be gentle with yourself this week. Take the necessary breaks and don't focus too much on trying to get a lot done. Happy Weekend! Here's a little introduction to the face behind TarotPugs (besides the pugs!) My name's Stacey B., and although the pugs Rocky and Rosie are the better IG models taking the credit, I'm the one with the opposable thumbs to do the typing! (The pugs just have to look cute.) Here's a little about me: ~•~ 1. Libra sun / Capricorn moon & rising. My Jupiter is conjunct Scorpio midheaven and my Sun is in the 8th. 2. I taught myself Icelandic from a book (that turned out to be somewhat plagiarized from an older book from the 1940s) then moved on my own to Iceland at age 16 in 1999. I got the book on Amazon - back when Amazon only sold books! 3. I got my first tarot deck in 1997, but didn't really become adept at it until 2015. In 1997, I started learning about witchcraft from books at a local new age shop. 4. I've studied different languages: Icelandic Ukrainian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, ASL, Swedish, Cantonese, French, German. However, Icelandic is the only one that I became bilingual in. Ukrainian is a close second. Currently, I'm learning Hebrew as a goal for 2020. HebrewPod101.com makes it fun and easy. (Not an advert.) 4. I've always had pets since the day I was born. I can't be without animals in my life. 5. I go through "phases" where I will eat or drink the same thing every day for a week or a few weeks until I get tired of it. 6. My spirituality is omnistic / eclectic to a certain degree. It's a blend of studying traditional (Eastern Orthodoxy / Judaism), working with Saints to working with dark goddesses like Hekate and Baba Yaga to Satanism / Spiritual Satanism. Maybe it's the 9th House Libra (with Mercury, Saturn and Pluto in there) in me that see value and truth in all of the above in that one can't exist without the other in theology. I started using ancestral veneration. 7. I'm a claircognizant, clairaudient, clairvoyant, clairalient and medium. I'm used to spirits always being around at home. I rarely feel alone, but when I do feel alone I then know that no spirit is nearby at home. My husband sometimes sees the spirits, but I don't have that ability. I only hear and feel them, sometimes smell them nearby. ~•~ And that's a bit of me.

Introduction to the Tarot Pugs: Rocky & Rosie. The Tarot Pugs are brother and sister from the same litter. Here's a few facts about them: ~•~ Rocky: • Pisces sun / Aquarius moon • Age: almost 8 years old • Bilingual in French and English • Loves pink dragon and pink dinosaur stuffies • Loves watermelon.(He literally goes "mmm" after eating watermelon) • Cares and worries more about his sister Rosie than she does of him (sadly) • Kids are often scared of him due to his size - he weighs 12 kg (~26 lbs) • The Submissive One ~•~ Rosie: • Pisces sun / Aquarius moon • Age: almost 8 years old • Bilingual In French and English • Loves nylabone - Rosie will run to find a nylabone after waking up in the morning and right after we come home - every time • Loves pizza crust and goes crazy when the pizza delivery arrives • Rosie is less then half of Rocky's size at only 7 kg (~15 lbs) • Rosie is shy around other dogs and only has eyes for me, her dad and Rocky (but tolerates cats) • The Bossy One ~•~ Card image from The Moonchild Tarot by Danielle Noel.

New moon in Aquarius. The Sun was square Uranus yesterday and can leave us feeling out of sorts, but at the same time to cast off the ordinary and embrace our quirky, unconventional sides. This time is about defying the "norms" or so what conservative society may seem as normal. But what is normal? What's normal to me may not be to another and vice versa. The new moon is about embracing new beginnings and in Aquarius, it calls us to be our true and authentic self. ~•~ Aquarius thinks outside the box but traditional ruler Saturn of Aquarius is about structure and rules. Aquarius may seem unconventional and out of the ordinary, but has a better understanding of the rules and laws of physics in the Universe that may seem out of the ordinary but really are still in the confines of this Universe. Aquarius just has a bigger box and playing field to work with than everyone else. They don't make new rules, they just understand beyond what others see and contend with. ~•~ New things will come to light over the next moon cycle. This is just the new beginning for many of us that are starting to take shape. Layers of the inner self are being revealed and more of us will begin to unveil our true selves. This is about being honest with who we are and soon in Aquarius season we will begin to show this part of ourselves. But first, be true to yourself. Love yourself.
