This week’s reading is done with the Rider Waite Tarot (U.S. Games Systems, Inc.) and Compendium of Constellations by Black and the Moon.
Let’s see what this week may bring:
Monday / Tuesday
Ace of Cups reversed
Where do you feel you’re stagnating in life?
Is there something in your life that isn’t flowing or feel is blocked?
We can wait for something to come our way, to be given to us, in order to make our lives easier, but sometimes we have to do the work ourselves to get “unstuck.”
Sometimes it’s a problem that only we ourselves can fix.
Some blockages are self-made and only we can remove them. We may feel that something or someone else is in our way and preventing something from coming our way, yet it may be ourselves who are getting in our own way.
Recognize the gifts that you already have and the blessings that you have in your life.
If you’re focused on what you’re not receiving from a certain person or thing, you may not see nor realize what you’re receiving from another source.
There’s plenty of love and blessings coming your way, the focus needs to be on where those blessings and love is coming from and not the places where you feel lack or resistance.
Blockages may arise when you’re focused on people, places and/or things that are unavailable to you or out of reach.
Try to shift your focus from what may be blocking you or what is lacking to what is open and available to you.
Try to work on removing blockages that may be preventing love and psychic impressions from flowing to you.
Wednesday / Thursday
7 of Swords
Caution should be made to not “bite off more than you can chew.” The eyes may be larger than the stomach.
People (ourselves included) may try to get away with certain things or at the very least certain events or people may be kept on the “down low”.
There may be events or happenings behind the scenes, behind closed doors or done quietly out of sight.
However, not all of this implies trickery or treachery.
Some people may act this way without realising that they may be raising suspicions.
This may just be that certain people (ourselves included) may want to have some privacy without all “business” known to everyone.
This may be the energy for these two days leading to being stealthy and sneaky. This doesn’t have to always mean someone is up-to-no-good.
If someone else is behaving in this manner, try to analyze and remain rational before jumping to conclusions.
If you’re feeling a bit sly and wanting to keep to yourself or sneak off somewhere, or feeling like the 7 of Swords, remember to check and see if your intentions are honest and honourable.
This could also imply gathering information and resources for work or a project, looking in different places or traveling quietly to other locations.
This could mean a project or work that’s under wraps or planning a secret or surprise event also.
Friday / Saturday / Sunday
Page of Swords
After two days of being on the down low and gathering what we need and/or our resources, now we have the energy to take on the outside world.
Mental agility will be quick and ideas may come more readily. Be sure to have a notepad and pen nearby to jot down any ideas that may prove useful later on.
We may feel more ready to take on challenges and whatever may come our way. The attitude “give me what you got” may prevail.
Now’s the time to make our move; the ball will be in our court.
Writing and written communications may be significant, words may flow more easily and readily.
Write down any and all ideas that come to you. These can be expressive ways to channel inner thoughts and Divine messages.
Take time to organize yourself and your plans for the weekend and the following week with lists, planning further research and preparing for whatever may arise unexpectedly.
Equuleus – “Freedom”
Freedom is fundamentally important to everyone. We all want freedom.
Freedom means different things to different people all over the world. Wherever we are, we always want more freedom.
What does freedom mean to you?
The song, “Alarm Call” by Björk has a line, “The less room you give me / the more space I’ve got”.
Even with small amounts of room, we can still have freedom. In certain circumstances, we can have freedom.
There can be freedom of mind, body, religion, practice, movement.
What freedom to you want and need?
How can you cultivate your own freedom?
How can you honour the freedom that you have?
This week, we can meditate on what freedom means to each of us and how we can ensure the freedom we desire and grant ourselves more freedom in our lives.
Wishing everyone a great start to the autumn season!
