This week’s cards are from Rider Waite Tarot (U.S. Games Systems, Inc.) and a recently released oracle deck, Compendium of Constellations by Black and the Moon.
Compendium of Constellations can be purchased directly from Black and the Moon.
Here’s what may be ahead for the week:
Monday / Tuesday:
We may feel as if a chapter is closing and just as it does, there’s a new beginning right around the corner.
The new moon on Friday brought new beginnings, which may be emphasized by the astrological house that it occurred in your natal chart.
This is where you may feel that something has ended, but in its wake, has brought something new in replacement or lieu of it.
However, it may take a couple of days after the new moon to tie up any loose ends before this chapter can come to a complete (or almost complete) closure.
Rarely are endings and beginnings so clear cut and effortless without taking care of a few things before you can move onto your next chapter.
You may feel that this has come full circle, but not exactly where you started from, but rather reaching the next level or phase of your life or plan.
You may not be exactly where you want to be or where you hope you’d be, but in the grander scheme of things, this may be where you’re meant to be at this moment in time.
Take the next step in your life.
Take everything that you’ve learned so far and take it with you as you move forward with the next phase, level and chapter to come.
Wednesday / Thursday:
Knight of Wands reversed
You may be ready to get stuff done, but where’s the plan, direction and focus needed to see it through until the end?
The energy for these two days may be haphazard, frenzied, brimming with enthusiasm, but unfocused and scattered. A sort of “manic panic.”
You may be eager to get on with the next phase or chapter, start a new project, have 100 ideas but unsure where to start or what to do next.
There may be a little bit of work done here and there, but little completed or finished. There may be multiple projects on the go, multitasking, but not seeing end results.
Be careful that you don’t get burned with all this excess enthusiasm and energy. Passion may fizzle out as quickly as it’s ignited.
In the midst of all this fiery energy with little direction or focus, be cautious to not let anger or tempers be misdirected towards others.
This may be due to trying to get things done in a hurry, which could lead to frustration and lashing out if others interrupt you, may happen inadvertently.
Channel your enthusiasm and passion.
There may not be a lot accomplished during these two days, so make notes to yourself to come back to it later and to finish the work or projects when you can.
Friday / Saturday / Sunday:
There may be elements of your life that you may have difficulty mixing and blending, which may cause you to have to keep them separate.
This may be frustrating and tiresome, which can create disharmony and imbalances within yourself.
This can be seen when a partner, friend or family member doesn’t mix or get along with another aspect of your life, so there’s a need to keep these two elements of your life separate.
You may wish that you could just live as one with these aspects or elements combined into a harmonious blend, but instead they have to be kept apart.
This could relate to family members or partners that mix together poorly like oil and water, or an aspect of your life that you feel you must keep separate from being open about with certain people.
Adjust and go with the flow.
Try not to let these imbalances and differences upset your own inner equilibrium and make you feel upset or defensive.
Some elements of our lives just won’t mix with other people and some people won’t mix with others. However, sometimes we can act as the “go between” or filter between the two, balancing these aspects and people in our lives.
How important is spirituality to you?
A spiritual practice takes time to develop and commit to; however, many people find spirituality through maintaining a regular spiritual practice.
Whomever you’re dedicated to spiritually, whatever your spiritual inclinations may (or may not) be, contemplate on what “worship” means to you.
Some people who have left organized religion may have an aversion to the word “worship,” feeling that it’s a tainted word for “groveling.”
Some people use it lightly in terms of pop culture without attaching any religious doctrine to the word.
However, worship doesn’t have to be a bad word, it doesn’t necessarily have to be religious, but it can be spiritual.
What does worship mean to you?
Worship can create a personal connection to your own spirituality and connection to Divine Source (whatever you may call it.)
Spend a little time to think about your own spirituality (or if you’re not spiritual, perhaps think about what is valuable to you and your beliefs).
If you’re inclined, perhaps spend time this week to reconnect to your own spirituality or what is at the core of your personal beliefs (codes or morals.)
