Whether you celebrate Easter or not, take advantage of the energy this weekend to enjoy the abundance that you have in your life.
WE ARE GODDESSES
Motherhood, and in particular, womanhood can be important during this weekend, especially when it comes to home and family matters.
A matriarch of the family has an important role to keep the family unit together and takes charge of responsibilities.
Whether you see yourself as the matriarch or someone else in your family, this role may be predominant over the weekend.
There may be an abundance of food and cooking, which if you’re fond of cooking and meal preparation, this will be a good weekend for a get-together to show off culinary skills.
Creativity can be at a peak this weekend as well and new ideas may be cultivated.
Springtime is here and everything is full of renewal and birth.
This may mark the announcement of or the birth of a creative project or even a pregnancy or birth of a baby and/or even animals.
Each of us embodies an aspect of the Divine Mother, which over this weekend, we may feel more connected to the maternal and nurturing side of the Goddess.
Take time to pursue your passions and desires.
Spend time to enjoy the finer things in life and relax this weekend, especially if you have a long weekend.
Treat yourself in some way.
DISCOVER YOUR VENUS
If you have extra time over the weekend, perhaps you may want to study your Venus sign as The Empress is ruled by Venus.
Venus retrograde will end on April 15 2017, which there’s been a lot of talk online about Venus and the retrograde lately as Venus only goes retrograde every 18 months.
Even though the retrograde is ending for now, we can still tap into her energy and learn more about Venus and how she affects us in our daily lives both in retrograde and direct.
If you’re interested in astrology or just curious, you can read about your astrology chart and its placement of Venus to see how you can express this side of you more fully and understand you Venusian side.
If you don’t have a chart, you can find yours here at astro.com.
To get your free natal chart at astro.com, enter your birth day, year, time and place to get a chart composite. (Make sure to select the section Natal Chart Wheel and Web default style which should be pre-set and standard.)
Locate what house Venus is in and the sign it’s in, the look up online or in books the sign of Venus and house in a natal chart.
At the bottom of the chart, there should be another chart that lists the planets and the glyphs for the planets.
Need help to read it? Hit me up on Twitter and I can point you in the right direction to help you locate the planets and signs and help you find resources that I’ve been using. I’ll try to reply as soon as I can.
If you’re looking for some resources to discover more about your Venus sign, try: Dark Pixie Astrology to learn more about natal Venus in the signs and houses. This site will give you a small introduction, but is a great resource for astrology info.
After you know your Venus sign/house you can search on Google to find more info. (Make sure to search “natal Venus” and not “transit Venus” when locating info for the birth natal chart to know more about yourself and not influences of the present/current day.)
If you want a good introductory book full of information, try Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Astrology by Kris Brandt Riske. It’s my absolute favourite that I’m studying at the moment.
Have a wonderful weekend!
