Weekend Card: April 7-9 2017 – Six of Wands

Tarot Pugs Weekend TarotPugs Six Wands

After this week, you may begin to realise the success that you have been accumulating.

You may also start to see rewards for the hard work and efforts you have put into something.

This may be praise, recognition or congratulations for a job well done.

This may be a sign to give yourself a well deserved pat on the back for the accomplishments you’ve done so far.

Give yourself credit for the work you’ve done; don’t solely rely on recognition and praise from others to validate your efforts.

We don’t hear often about the good work that we’ve done, usually it’s just expected of us. In most employment fields, we don’t hear praise on the job unless it’s annual or quarterly reviews.

Take time to see how far you’ve come and give yourself some recognition.

The best quote that I’ve heard which I use often to describe this situation is from the TV cartoon show “Futurama”:

“When you do things right, people won’t be sure you’ve done anything at all.”

So be your own cheerleader and give yourself praise when you know you’ve done the best you could this week.

Even if you weren’t at your 100% capacity, know that you gave it your all at whatever percentage you were able to do this week.

Being humble is one thing; however, you can still share your accomplishments and achievements with others to show pride in your work and efforts.

Sometimes people are too busy in their lives to notice what’s going on with others, so if you’re proud of something you’ve done, share it with them.

Fill them in on what you’ve been doing lately that’s kept you busy, then ask them how their projects and work is going. Support and praise is always mutual.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,
