After the events of this week in the U.S. election that has sent waves of emotions all over the world, we may feel that we need a break to rest, regroup, and collect our thoughts and energy.
As some of us feel that we may want to withdraw and think about what has happened, what is happening and what will happen, some of us may want to do the exact opposite and become more proactive.
This could be a turbulent weekend and many of us may alternate between being proactive and wanting to retreat or needing to balance ourselves between these actions.
We will have to know when to care for ourselves and know when it’s time to “unplug” ourselves from social or news media if it becomes too much to tolerate for our own wellbeing.
The Four of Swords reminds us to take the time for our own mental health and to take the time to rest as needed, yet also know when we should or need to act.
Many of us may start to think and meditate on where America and the world goes from here and what can be done as we progress into the weekend.
November 11 is Remembrance Day (in Canada), a day to honour war veterans and for us to pause and reflect on their sacrifices that they have made.
This weekend will bring a lot of reflection, meditation and contemplation as we move forward.
This is a more deeper community reading than usual here, but the energy that has happened this week has affected many of us and felt important to address it as it pertains to the card for the weekend.
