Thank Pug for weekends!
Weekends are when I can focus on everything else that I’ve wanted to do during the week, but didn’t get the chance to do. Isn’t that how it seems for most of us? That’s also why weekends seem to go by way too quickly.
That’s why self-care is so important for everyone.
For myself, weekends are still working days – only it’s for my own projects and not full time work.
That’s when I need to learn to schedule enough time on the weekends (and weekdays) to recover and rest when I need to, before my body says “that’s enough” and does it for me, which usually always happens at an inconvenient time when you just really can’t stop and usually have deadlines to meet.
This weekend, if you’ve been working all week and find that you still need to keep working over the weekend, remember to take time for yourself and to spend it with those close to you.
Undivided time away from social media and emails is what I’m striving for to do at least a few hours in the week and really enjoy the company that is around me.
In general, we can feel guilty if we’re not doing anything at the present moment, feeling like we must be doing something productive, but sometimes doing nothing is just what we need.
Sitting and listening to music, sitting by a fire outdoors under the stars, or enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and enjoying the quietness that is in the morning or late at night.
It’s simple and can seem unproductive, but sometimes is just what is needed to rest and clear our minds and auras.
Weekend Card: King of Pentacles
If you’re working on your own projects or business this weekend, the King of Pentacles can imply that you’re staying on top of your game.
This can mean that you are working towards your goals as future investments and you may already start to see some benefit and results.
Hard work and solid work ethics are building the pillar foundations for your future and current success.
The King of Pentacles is resourceful and experienced in business and money affairs, so seeking his advice or counsel in business matters can be a wise move.
If you are looking for direction to go in your work, perhaps getting advice that you can trust can be the next step in the right direction.
This may be a weekend to continue working on your projects or side hustles as you start to see some of it payoff.
Current work from this week and into the next week may also start to show success.
The King of Pentacles has put his industrious efforts into his workings and created something to fall back on.
Looking into future planning can also be something to take into consideration as something to ponder this weekend and to see which direction you want your future finances and work to take you.
