This week carries the message of the need to release something or to let go of something that you may be holding on too tightly. This could be an idea or belief, or even feeling the need to be in control over finances or a situation. You could feel like you are losing control over something and therefore try to overcompensate holding on even more tightly. In the end, this might cause only more stress. The ego wants to remain in control for what it seems serves itself best, yet when we let go of the ego and the need to be in control of every detail, we allow ourselves to feel more free and open. Spirit reminds us this week that it’s OK if we’re not in control of every aspect or detail, we don’t have to feel that we must be in control and that sometimes things are simply out of our control.
The Serenity Prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr (1892-1971) comes to mind for this week: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
Have a great week!

This is a good read because nothing in life is perfect and we all make mistakes. Having a reversed card is not the end of the world or something bad. It is something we need to face up to and move on. Theincensewoman
